These terms are an agreement between you and Yonga Works about Yonga Streak, the app that appears as “Streak” on your phone. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
What happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy.
The agreement
Yonga Works gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to install Yonga Streak on your Android devices and use it for yourself. The app and everything in it, apart from what you write, belongs to Yonga Works.
You need to be old enough to enter into an agreement where you live. The app is not meant for children under 13.
If you got the app from Google Play, Google Play’s own terms also apply to the download and to any purchase.
What the app does
Yonga Streak is a habit tracker. You list the habits you want to keep and write how your day went in plain words; the app marks the habits and keeps the streaks. You can always mark or correct a day by hand.
The app works on your phone. Reading entries in plain words is an online service that you can switch on or off. With it off, the app remains a habit tracker you fill in by hand.
Automatic reading
Entries are read with the help of AI services, and automatic reading makes mistakes. It can miss a habit, count the wrong amount or put something on the wrong day. The app shows what it counted for every entry, asks you when it is not sure, and lets you fix any result.
Check what the app has counted before you rely on it. Your streaks and history are a record you keep for yourself, not a certified one.
Yonga Streak is not a medical, health, fitness, nutrition or mental-health service, and nothing it shows is advice of that kind. If a habit matters for your health, follow a professional’s guidance, not a streak.
Free trial and Streak Plus
Marking habits by hand, your streaks, your history and the reminder are free. Reading entries in plain words is free during a free trial, which starts with the first entry that is read and currently lasts 20 days. There is one free trial per phone; reinstalling the app or erasing its data does not start another.
After the trial, reading needs Streak Plus, a subscription sold through Google Play, paid monthly or yearly. Google Play shows the price in your currency, with any tax, before you buy, and Google Play takes the payment.
Streak Plus renews by itself at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play’s subscription settings; Streak Plus then stays until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund rules. If the price changes, Google Play tells you before the new price applies.
A subscription works on the phone it was bought on and on at most two more of your phones that use the same Google Play account. Without it, the app goes on as a habit tracker you fill in by hand, and your entries stay on your phone.
Fair use
Reading an entry costs us money each time. For ordinary personal use there is no limit you are likely to meet.
To keep the service available to everyone, there are technical limits on how much one installation can send in a day and on how much the whole service handles in a period. When a limit is reached, reading pauses. Your entries stay on your phone, and you can mark habits by hand until it resumes.
What you must not do
- Use the reading service for anything other than keeping your own habits in the app.
- Send it automated or bulk requests, or try to get around its limits.
- Try to get more than one free trial for a phone, or share one subscription beyond what it allows.
- Try to break, probe, overload or reverse engineer the app or the service, except where the law gives you that right.
- Put unlawful content, or other people’s private information, in your entries.
- Copy, resell or redistribute the app.
We may suspend reading for an installation that does any of these.
Your entries
What you write is yours. You give Yonga Works permission to process your entries only as far as needed to provide the reading you asked for, which includes passing them to the service providers described in the privacy policy. We claim no other right over them.
Your data lives on your phone. The app does not back it up to the cloud; Android’s phone-to-phone transfer can copy it when you set up a new phone, and nothing else does. Keeping the phone and its data safe is your responsibility. If you uninstall the app or erase its data, what was on the phone is gone and we cannot restore it.
Changes and availability
The app is provided as it is today, and it will change: features may be added, changed or removed.
The reading service depends on our server and on third-party providers. It may be slow, paused or unavailable at times, and we may end it. If we end it, we will stop Streak Plus renewals first. The app then keeps working as a habit tracker you fill in by hand, and your data stays on your phone.
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; cancel Streak Plus in Google Play as well.
Warranty and liability
We build Yonga Streak with care, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that reading will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or that the app is free of errors.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Yonga Works is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for decisions you make based on what the app shows. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for Streak Plus in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights where you live.
Yonga Works is an independent software developer based in Türkiye. Questions and complaints go to [email protected].
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply to you. If you do not agree with them, stop using the app.
